Sunshine Coast Attractions

If you're after a day of fun and adventure, there are many attractions that will keep you and the kids enthralled. Experience the ultimate wildlife adventure with Australia Zoo, or take in the Aussie icons with a tour of the Big Pineapple, Opals Down Under, the Ettamogah Pub and Aussie World.

There is a large number of tours available on the Sunshine Coast ranging from rainforest safaris to ecotourism tours and cruises, four wheel drive tours and tours to Fraser Island. Not to be missed is a trip up the Noosa River through the Everglades. The riverbanks are home to all manner of birdlife including cormorants, osprey eagles, ibises and cockatoos.

The Sunshine Coast offers all types of water activities including jet-skis, parasailing, yachting Sunshine Coast, fishing charters, diving, you can learn to surf or just relax on the many beautiful beaches.

Shopping is diverse and an attraction in itself on the Sunshine Coast. Choose from boutique shops in Noosa's Hasting Street, art and craft galleries and stores in the Blackall Range and the Eumundi Markets are a must for that something different. For those who want something more traditional there are large shopping complexes throughout the region such as the Sunshine Plaza.

If it's nature you're more interested in, there are plenty of bushwalks in the Blackall Ranges or visit Fairhill Native Plants and Botanical Gardens. Take a leisurely drive into the Blackall Range and visit the quaint village of Montville, Flaxton and Mapleton.
