Phillip Island Attractions

Dusk on Phillip Island is the signal for a very special event - a parade of little penguins that emerge from the sea and make their way to their burrows in the sand dunes. Phillip Island houses a large number of koalas, and a colony of up to 16,000 fur seals that can be seen at Seal Rocks from October to December.

Rich bird life, includs shearwaters, on Cape Woolamai, and numerous unusual species of waterbirds at Rhyll Inlet.

Water sports enthusiasts will be in heaven while on Phillip. You can paddle in the shallows of a bay beach, cruise the bay in a catamaran, kayak around Rhyll Inlet, observe large populations of waterbirds or catch a wave at one of the surf beaches.
